Vendor Information

There are a lot of excellent energy saving technologies on the market that could benefit Virginia Public Utilities' residential customers.

In 2011, VPU is launching a new conservation and efficiency program to be used as a resource that home owners, renters, and landlords can use to help identify projects that save energy, while adding value and comfort to your residence. VPU will provide the customer with a financial incentive to encourage implementing energy efficiency and conservation projects.

Add comfort and resale value to your home by retrofitting older/inefficient appliances and by lowering your energy bill through the use of  the tools and incentives available through Virginia Public Utilities Conservation Improvement Program for homes, apartments, and other types of residential dwellings.

CIP is a tool for residential property owners and renters in the VPU service area to help save energy and provide money-saving resources.

The average home in the U.S. consumes energy in the following ways:

In addition to CIP for residential customers, VPU has a comprehensive program to help its Commercial and Industrial Customers save energy.
